Our Vision
At Inside Out Church, our vision is to see every person embark on a unique journey of transformation—a beautiful process of moving from our old life into the fullness of the new life that Christ promises. This transformation begins deep within us and works outward, shaping every aspect of who we are. It’s not just surface change; it’s a profound metamorphosis that reflects God’s incredible power to renew and restore.
Much like the butterfly in our logo, we are all in a process of becoming. The butterfly’s metamorphosis is a perfect picture of the Christian journey:
We start as the caterpillar, living in the limitations of our old selves, burdened by sin and focused on the things of this world.
Then comes the cocoon, a place of surrender, growth, and transformation—a place where the old is shed and something entirely new begins.
Finally, we emerge as a butterfly, free to soar in the beauty and purpose of our new identity in Christ, equipped to live for His glory and spread His love to the world.
As a church, we want to help to facilitate this process of transformation. This is more than just a change in behaviour or circumstances. Transformation from the inside out means:
Heart Renewal: God gives us a new heart, full of His love and grace. As Ezekiel 36:26 says, “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you.”
Mind Renewal: Romans 12:2 reminds us to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. God’s truth reshapes how we see ourselves, others, and the world.
Purpose Redefined: As we shed the old self, God calls us to a higher purpose, one that reflects His design for our lives and impacts those around us.
In our church, we understand that this is a journey that doesn’t happen all at once, but over time, as we walk with Jesus and allow Him to work in us. Just like the butterfly’s transformation is a process, so is ours. We are all works in progress, and God is faithful to complete the good work He’s started in us (Philippians 1:6).
At Inside Out Church, the butterfly is more than just a logo; it’s a symbol of hope, growth, and the extraordinary things God can do in every life surrendered to Him. So, wherever you are in your journey, know this: God sees you, He’s working in you, and He’s transforming you—from the inside out—into something more beautiful than you can imagine.
