"From the Inside Out: A Journey of Transformation"
The year 2011 was a turning point for our family…
It all began on April 2nd, the day Richard attended Klaudia’s baptism—not out of personal interest but, as he put it, “just to avoid an argument.” Little did he know, that decision would change his life forever and spark a ripple effect that would transform our family.
On that day, Richard had a powerful, life-changing encounter with the Holy Spirit. His life was turned upside down—in the best possible way—and he embarked on an incredible journey with God. The road has been filled with both triumphs and challenges, but through it all, God’s hand has remained steadfastly upon us as a family.
Over the years, we’ve grown and served together. We were part of a Bible school where Richard led missions, taught, and equipped students to step into their God-given callings. Watching lives transform and destinies unfold was a privilege, but after several years, we felt God calling us to shift our focus. We stepped down from our roles and planted ourselves deeply in our home church in Corby.
It was there that Richard began his Ministry-in-Training journey, preparing to step into a new chapter: planting a church. What started as a single moment of surrender has become a story of God’s faithfulness, shaping us and calling us to build something new for His glory.
It all began with a book…
For as long as we can remember, we’ve dreamed of planting a church, but we never knew where. That changed when Klaudia read the biography of James Hudson Taylor. Through his story, our hearts were drawn to Barnsley.
For a year, we visited Barnsley once a month, and with each visit, we felt more at home. By the time we moved here at the end of May 2024, it was clear—this was where we were meant to be.
Since settling in, we’ve been overwhelmed by the warmth of the people. Barnsley is filled with incredible individuals—friendly, genuine, and welcoming. We love living here and feel privileged to call this community home.
As a church, our vision is to create a space where people can truly belong—a community-centered haven where everyone has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and become all that God created them to be. A place where potential is unlocked, peace is found, and joy is shared. Together, we’re building a future of hope and purpose for Barnsley.
